Horrors of boarding school

GIDRAF MWANGI 1992 (Murang'a)

Infinite horrors of my primary school
Daily hover in my mind
Impinging on me a huge sigh
Dispelling the terror still an illusion

Waking up was always at night
When the neighboring village was asleep
Wagging to your eyes was the dreadful daily schedule
Which was a hell on its own

In between some terminal sleep nods
I changed into uniform
Incurring some stupid wearing errors
Including an inside out panty

With a pallor of gloom
I whisked my mass to class
Waiting impatiently to sit down
I continue with my journey to dreamland

A feeble breakfast with two bread crusts
Acted more appetizer than food
Assuring you a fierce stomach brawl
Amidst the lengthy boring lessons
