THE FEARFUL NIGHT
A solemn mood falls
On a town lost to terror,
In this fearful night.

DIRE WARNINGS OF DANGER
Callously ignoring
Dire warnings of danger,
He went to his doom.

DIRE WARNINGS OF PERIL
Dire warnings of peril
Strange indications that,
Evil slinks this way.

DISSENSION AMONG THE GODS
Dissension among
The mighty elder gods,
Brings Armageddon.

DISTILLED TERROR (I)
Sights that wring fright
From the driest imagination;
Distilled terror.

THE DOORS OF HELL (I)
Sights that wring terror
Peering through death’s door and the
Doors of Hell beyond.

THE DOPPELGANGER
A doppelganger
lurking near.  Hoping to take
control of your life.

DRAGONS LURKING
Fiery dragons lurk
Behind gnarled trees, and watch
Wary knights ride by.

DREADFUL FIGURES PRANCING
On a lonely hill
Dreadful figures are prancing,
You watch on in fear.

DREAMS OF JEKYLL AND HYDE (II)
Dreams of Jekyll and
Mister Hyde.   But when you wake,
Which one are you?

DREAMING OF TERRORS (I)
Dreaming of terrors
That bring death to millions,
As they hunt the night.

DREAM TERRORS
Horror awaits you
Perhaps all your dream terrors,
Are coming to life?

DRUMBEAT OF TERROR
Drumbeat of terror
Reminds you of the evil,
Closing in on you.

DUSK THREATENING
Night creatures awaken
As dusk threatens to break,
Forcing you inside.

EAGLES (II)
Eagles are clawing
At your eyes and at your throat,
Is it all a dream?

EBONY
Night-time descends then
Wrapping you in ebony,
Envelopes your mind.

EERIE SPECTRES
Eerie spectres lurk
In an ancient burial ground,
To prey on the weak.

ELDER GODS AWAKEN
Elder gods wake when
Ancient curses call them,
To punish humanity.

ELDER GODS WAR
In lofty Valhalla
Faraway in space and time,
Elder gods war.

ENDLESS NIGHTMARES
Endless nightmares rule
Your existence, and control
Your every act.

THE END OF HOPE
Morbid fantasies
Craven, stark terror haunts,
Is this the end of hope?

AN ENDLESS PARADE OF ATROCITIES
You quiver in fear
As an endless parade,
Of atrocities pass.

ENORMOUS BEINGS
Enormous beings
Lumber through swirling night mists,
Fear personified

EPHEMERAL GHOSTS
Ephemeral ghosts
Groaning, gibbering, sighing,
Aping the living.

ETERNAL NIGHTMARES
Eternal nightmares
Of a time now long past,
When sanity was lost.

EVENING SHADOWS
Evening shadows
Covering crouching figures,
Waiting to attack.

EVENING SHADOWS CONCEALING
Evening shadows
Conceal all kinds of evil,
Nowhere left to flee.

EVENING SHADOWS FALL
Evening shadows fall
Spreading fear ’mong the living,
Dead things on the prowl.

AN EVIL AMBIENCE
Evil ambience:
Aura of creeping fear,
Of dreadful things once done.

AN EVIL AMULET
An evil amulet
Which brings ill fortune to,
Anyone who wears it.

EVIL CAPERING FIGURES
Secrets of the dark:
Evil capering figures,
Creeping up on you.

THE FACE OF TERROR
A face from your nightmares
With long, pointed teeth,
Lunging for your throat.

FINGERS SLICK WITH BLOOD
Blood-stained floors
Where the evil, living dead,
Lick fingers slick with blood.

FOOTSTEPS IN THE HALL (I)
Footsteps in the hall
Wingbeats in the darkness,
Unseen horrors approach.

FOOTSTEPS IN THE HALL (II)
Footsteps in the hall
Wings beating in the darkness,
Unseen horrors near.

FRENZY
A frenzied tearing
breaks out.   As evil fiends
devour a living feast.

GHASTLY CREATURES POUNCE
Ghastly creatures pounce
Grabbing passing humans,
To sate an evil thirst.

A GIANT BLACK VAMPIRE
A giant, black vampire
Orbits around the moon,
Casting shadows to Earth.

GIANT VAMPIRES FLAP
Giant vampires flap
Round and round overhead,
Zeroing in on you.

GLOWING RED EYES CALLING
Glowing red eyes
Burning into your brain; call you
To a demon’s lair.

GRAVE MURMURINGS (II)
Throaty voices murmur
Imitates the living,
Coils around a grave.
