Analysis of Battling Child

Fifteen-year-old Child
Died while fighting for liberty
Under his war master’s rule
In a remote marshy bush

Of liberty he and war mates
Only knew gun shots and shell sounds
War cries and war songs
Blood splashes and brain smashes

Officers and war master
Taught them all about liberty
Liberty is as nice as truth
Was the best thing they ever heard

And they would know about truth
The day they free the country
From the ruling usurpers
The day they bring liberty to the people

So poor little Child died
Without ever knowing anything
About liberty he had fought for
And time washed off his memory.
