Analysis of Mom, My Heart and Inspiration
Melita Catalina Warren 1949 (Kansas)
The friendliest person on our street,
Provides a home’s secure retreat.
As a homemaker and good man’s wife,
Mom served the Lord her whole life.
She smiled when things were not rosy,
In her sunny spirit so bright.
She always made others feel cozy,
By staying upbeat during the night.
She raises me up higher if I fall,
Helps me stand erect and tall.
Mom walks beside me. I am never alone.
Mom endures, best friend I have ever known.
Mom and I tumbled down a wall of stone
For together loving seeds we have sown.
