Analysis of Waiting to strike

Arpan Dey 2004 (West Bengal)

Look at the sky
It's so quiet
It's reddish
It's waiting
For a storm
It'll soon be red

Look at them
They're quiet
They're calm
They're waiting
To strike
Waiting to strike

The sky is tired
Of seeing them
They've been
Wronged
For too long
They'll strike
The sky'll rise
Against them
Who've wronged
Them

Their piercing eyes
Only see revenge
They'll stop at
Nothing
Nothing at all
The sky'll growl
Chaos will reign
Everywhere
Until everything
Is finished

Once they start
You'll have
No place to flee
No place to hide
You'll pay
Pay for your deeds
For all your deeds
They'll not rest
Before that
They'll never rest

Look at the sky
It's so quiet
It's reddish
It's waiting
For a storm
It'll soon be red

Look at them
They're quiet
They're calm
They're waiting
To strike
Waiting to strike

Waiting to strike
Waiting to strike
Waiting to strike
Waiting to strike
