Analysis of About me
Nola Debera Leech 2003 (Iowa)
A yellow lab graying with the realization of old age
Rose colored tea lights reflect her inner most thoughts
Fruit punch chapstick, a memory I’ll never forget
These are a few of my favorite things
Eve was made from Adam's rib bone
So does that mean that I will always be attached to a man?
That the need to be loved will always be trapped inside of me?
Screaming to get out
Wake up, brass locks
Glass stained door
Who will let me out?
Bent over for the way you say sorry
Laying down in the fake green painted grass
Fresh linen too
I just want to feel alive
I’m here and no one can stop me
Live inside of a raindrop
Just to be small again
When everyone loved you
But you did everything wrong
