Analysis of Your Cold Indifference
I’m going to break,
I’m going to fall
with no one below
to catch me.
Watch my life
slipping like sand
from my fingers,
from my lungs.
I look to you
with watery eyes,
with pain and loss,
and you turn from me.
Your cold indifference,
your iced-over beliefs
are slowly killing me,
awakening a new person.
