Analysis of YOU ARE LIKE A DAUGHTER TO US (Poem #215)
THIS IS A GREETING CARD VERSE
Happy Birthday Alice, you're one of a kind.
A daughter-in-law like you is very hard to find.
Birthdays come and go and you get nicer each year.
You're just like a daughter to us, so dear.
When we come visit, you make us feel so at home,
Sharing your time with us so we don't feel alone.
We hope this year will be filled with great joys
As soon as the party settles down from its noise.
And if there's no party, we hope the day will be
The beginning of the happiest year you'd ever want to see.
