Analysis of Winter Appreciated
Cobalt sky streaked with violet and pink
Wispy clouds bow quietly and sink
Behind naked frosted trees.
A frigid chill arrives on the winter breeze,
Stirring the slumbering snow
The lacy drifts put on an amazing show.
The spell of winter paints everything white,
Iridescent and glistening in dawn's early light.
Frost spreads her feathery wings vast
Icy fingers thread across winter's canvass.
The beauty of winter appreciated,
Viewed from a dwelling warm and insulated.
