Analysis of Why Was That Guy So Shy And Stoic?

something wrong with that boy
always appeared shy and stoic
no one ever thought much about it
just swept it under the rug and ignored it

i remember that day by the bridge
when he saw the sun, he turned to run
i didnt know what was troubling him
didnt seem like he wanted to talk to anyone

there was always a blank look on his face
devoid of any emotion
always writing in that notebook of his
must have been his one and only devotion

i remember that night when he ran away
nobody knew where he went
all he left was a cryptic note
nobody knew what it meant

i've tried again and again
but i can't make sense out of it anymore
whatever it is he's after
i hope he finds what he's looking for
