Analysis of Veteran's Day
We revere the veterans on this hallowed day.
For freedom of religion
they sanctified the way.
It's not the preachers, it's the veterans.
We salute the veterans in their dauntless stand.
For freedom of speech and press
they bravely took command.
It's not the newscasters, it's the veterans.
We respect the veterans and their sacrifice.
For freedom to assemble
they freely paid the price.
It's not the assemblymen, it's the veterans.
We esteem the veterans with fondest regards.
For freedom to cast a vote
they are election guards.
It's not the politicians, it's the veterans.
We honor the veterans who faced such horrors.
For freedom to a fair trial
they fiercely fought the wars.
It's not the judges, it's the veterans.
