Analysis of Thoughts of Them

James Johnson 1952 (Algoma, WV)

Thoughts of Them

While gazing skyward
Wondering about life
Procrastinating biblically
On current world plight

I am clearly shown
The Devils at work
Scrupulous complexions
Hiding in the shadows

Foolish parents' teachings
Dirt with murk
A world of reflections
Without corrections

I vision and reality
Of what happens next
Shows He and only He
Guides His token few

A reflection of His world
All Devils in peril, that's no fake
Something my Father hate
Changes of His Book to-date
