Analysis of The New Frontier
Seraphim wraps His fingers around my throat
Forcing me to choke
These blankets of gas aren't blankets at all
Apollo smiles in the distance;
Wrapped in a blanket of fire, atop a large plasma ball.
I watch Diana show her old bald head
She has been her longer than I, longer than those who are dead.
I take out my sword, slice open the fabric and slip through.
In this new place, I am the nucleus of a macro-atomic existence.
Gas bullets melt into time, and I move about with no resistance.
I open my mouth to speak, but my thoughts have long been released.
They scatter like spiders at the sight of light,
leave their webs in the corners of my subconscious,
And explore the new frontier
