Analysis of The Gigolo's Gone ?
My friend once said to me
I'm a man if you can still call me one,
But! I think the gigolo's gone?
Once the mighty showman
Now the charming fool,
In the world of love
A limp response is not a blessing!
But I still feel the need.
It's like like seeing the dish, smelling the food
But not enjoying the feast,
So, I've got me and my memories.
I've loved
But never shared my heart with anyone,
I now wish I had
There could have been kids,
But I have none that I know of ?
I get restless evening times
So I take a stroll through the city,
The lights are still there
And the atmosphere rings out.
And as I gaze
Through those restaurant windows
Now and again
I catch a glimpse of my former self.
