The first time you make love to someone you adore
it will turn your head around
and cause spirits to soar
The first time you know truth from personal insight
it will turn your head around
and cause a vigil light
The first time you see birth by calving from a cow
it will turn your head around
and cause a pensive wow
The first time you take flight on orbits in deep space
it will turn your head around
and cause an about-face
The first time you find peace in letting anger go
it will turn your head around
and cause a golden glow
The first time you feel awe for a new shadow band
it will turn your head around
and cause a softer stand
