Analysis of Summer Theater
The streaks across the window:
Remains of errant insects fleeing darkness
Blur the curling whites of blossomed orange
Wrapped in spider workings:
Laced strings of Broadway Dew
Shine as the house lights dim.
The overture of birds unflapping
Grounded in the rose bush sounding
Greeting orchestrations hailing
The embracing radiation of the sun
Last night's shower,this morning's dew,
Steam skyward from its kiss.
Then the hummingbird comes knocking.
