Analysis of Storm of No Rain
Do, Wind, blow your tamed belligerence
through this life, sewn by mine own hand
hour before hour, day before day,
and bring to my eyes the exact sight
you wish me to see.
I daresay you care not to listen
to the bellowing of mortals such as I,
for you would sooner blow down
the very foundation of my Home
before hearing my sweet child’s voice,
calling and begging you to quit,
to leave the storm behind.
