Analysis of Sometimes

Sometimes I wish that I was dead.
Sometimes I wish to stay in bed.
Yet still I know that this can't be....
Hey maybe there's a life for me?

But how the hell can this be!
If every night I cry to sleep
I'm nothing but a confused child
locked behind four crowded walls and
no one has tried to open my door

So I try to think back, to when I was happy
Or was I? Or why I just to stupid to
figure out that life is suffering and pain?
And out of this what do I gain?

Maybe some understanding?
Maybe life wouldn't be so demanding?
Maybe, just maybe to laugh and smile
and know that it will last more than a while.

Sometimes I wish that I was dead
Sometimes I wish to stay in bed
But still I know that this can't be
Because God has made a life for me!
