Analysis of Slaughter On The Campus (Virginia Tech)

A crazy leaves a ghastly wake of death and broken lives,
choosing all reason to forsake
as slaughter he contrives.

A madman offers no defense for his lethal attacks,
choosing all reason to incense
as slaughter he unpacks.

An angry man did traumatize unsuspecting students,
choosing all reason to excise
as slaughter he presents.

A lunatic shoots at random everybody who moves,
choosing all reason to benumb
as slaughter he approves.

He kills, before his suicide, thirty two innocents,
choosing all reason to deride
as slaughter he accents.
