Analysis of Single-Handed
At the wooded pond nestled in the balsams
The one armed veteran sat
Feeling water transparent
And life within his fist
With a nod he beckoned me
To hold my hands together
Make a cup for this
Pinky length of tadpole
He captured single-handed
My hands,smaller,obeyed
Forming flesh and finger cavern
Without his tail, he soon becomes...
A frog waiting for a princess?
He moved his sleeve in nodding
The limb's the price of princedom
Set him free to wait in warts
For healing lips completeness.
And you...
Feel your vacant space each night
Then pray for your fairy princess
