Analysis of Shattered

Leave the pieces
Of my heart
Which lie, reflecting
Light in parts.

Don't try to mend
Don't try to fix
Just leave them
In their drunken mix.

You'll just cut
Yourself and bleed,
So hear my words
And heed my plea.

Don't touch my pieces
I'm fine as I am.
I hope one day,
You'll understand.

Don't get cut,
I'm begging, please.
Don't hurt yourself
Because of me...
