Analysis of Sensory Overload
Unshaven, you sit there drinking coffee
And eating toast with sweet honey.
I watch the golden honey slip
Over your delightful lips,
And I want to savor it on your tongue.
I feel my limbs melt in the early morning sun.
I lie awake each weeknight savouring
Weekend memories of our lovemaking.
Your passion fattens me for days.
The brush of your fingers stays
Like warm butter glazing my skin.
I don't want this weekend to end.
I could stay like this for hours
With you my grubby Adonis
Greedy for more sensory overload.
(Written for hubby for Valentine's Day)
