Analysis of Saw You On The Subway At Seven In The Morning
i saw you on the subway at seven in the morning
you had on a red dress a necklace and your shoes were orange
twirling your hair and smiling at every guy that walked your way
then you started nibbling on your butter bagel and sipping on your chi mocha latte
you were sitting there with your legs crossed like a hotter and younger kate moss
the thoughts passed by my glass mind, you're a flirt and a rocketship ready for takeoff
you were giggling with your eyes at all the martians that started giving you all that attention
you were like a mystery of a women with a whimsical and mystical taste for affection
what a coincidence, we got off at the last stop on coney island
you got a phone call, it must have been your boyfriend, and then you started crying
we walked to the boardwalk together as distant strangers
when i look at you, i feel like we're both aliens lost on the same earth
i sat on a bench and then i saw you slip off your shoes and ran into the sands
then i saw your soft and silky skin come alive underneath your graveyard tan
i watched as you went into the water and the waves washed away all that make up
dusk must have rushed by like a river cause my friend suddenly tapped me on the shoulder and said “wake up”
