Analysis of Rejection
Rejection is very hard to take,
And I've had it all my life,
From my Mom and Dad when I was young,
And my husband when I was his wife.
I've always wanted to be special,
But I guess it is never to be,
This hurting, aching rejection,
I even gave it to me.
All along the path of life,
I've always tried to be good,
But this hateful state of rejection
Was there wherever I stood.
But here's one thing I can look forward
to
When death knocks on my door,
My Saviour will meet me with open arms,
And rejection will be no more.
