Analysis of Red Poppies
And the red poppies lie withering on my casket. A day you thought you'd never see.
See I lived my life like the death of tomorrow.
Writing for my king to take my sorrow.
I breathed pale and stagnant air,
While my heart lie withering in my chest.
Pumping to the beat of helpless lies.
I seen things that other people couldn't.
Like cancer in an unborn child.
And the hare building inside an anarchist Hitler wanna-be.
I loathed the sweet words people said to me,
Trying to sway me into their hatred arms.
I caught everyone red handed
The covets of christians are unknown to me.
Unknown to you.
I claim not unto God,
but unto me.
I am counter.
I covet.
When I am gone, I'll still be with you all.
Never seeing, but still knowing.
While the red poppies lie withering on my casket.
