Analysis of Passion
I look at art and pictures that express passion
Passion of life
Passion of love
And I wonder
Shall I ever experience the passion of love ever again?
Shall I behold the face of one that loves me as I love her?
see the passion of my mere presence in her eyes?
To live a life of love and passion unlike anything ever written,
Ever lived by anyone now or in times ancient.
Passion and love is rushed not, nor hurried,
They are not centered on self-alone.
They are to be shared with only one so exceptional,
That life seems a vacuum without the other.
I cry that I have no such person to live life with,
One that I long to be with when separated.
One that a single touch will still my soul,
And a smile will assure the present and future.
One that defines passion in every conceivable manner.
So I ask, in my solitude,
Which path is mine?
