Our Society



In an age when women and men are becoming
more and more polarized
because of a society that is being up and downsized,
that is seeking for itself through the laws that it continually places
against its peoples in so many cases.
Is it any wonder that so many
feel that they can hardly
make it through from one day to the next
without feeling that somehow, someway they've been hexed
by someone, something that reflects our system of laws?
Our society that is riddled with so many flaws
men are afraid to speak with women,
women are afraid to trust men
and love and love,
once a very treasured experience,
a very treasured something that would last from hither to thence
is vaguely known, let alone able to be expressed or explained
or even lived on such a plane
for all has been commercialized,
everything sized to sell...
