Enigma

Alone I travel this life
Seeking, yet not finding one to share it.
Having sought
But not found,
Given in to life solitude,
I seek home.
Wonder I what purpose here I came,
This world seeks not wisdom
Only pleasures physical.
Alone I travel,
No longer seeking,
More than home.

I am an enigma on this world once so fair.

If, in some distant day
The inhabitants of this world seek and find the inner being,
Then I may choose to return
To see the true beauty of life on the planet
Called Earth.
