Analysis of Old Vets Are The Worst
Don't care what Caesar said.
They lose their verve
They lack the starch
once their kids can
serve or march
Old vets are the worst kind.
Don't care what Kitchener said..
If in Congo they have been
They get religion
or something akin to it
Won't shoot a four foot man
who's nearly naked
Old vets are the worst kind
Don't care what Sitting Bull said.
Not enough scalp to take
Not enough teeth to magic make
Buttons of brass not silver- gold
Canvas hats not eagled crest
Cannot makem Custer best
Old Vets are the worst.
