Analysis of No Title
Four days ago you told me you love me
And thought you were satisfying my desires.
Three days ago I doubted it all and told you so.
I do not stand for liars
For, two days ago, you finally came clean.
You said I was too serious and over-burning my fires.
I didn't want to, but I set you free.
And, you swore, your best friend I will still be.
One day ago, I was sad and felt harmed,
And confused, and abused, by how you had charmed.
Now, today, I had to try to show indifference
To how my heart feels under your influence.
It has not been that long
So, how it went wrong
p*ss a mystery, killing me strong.
So, what has changed while you were gone?
Was my love and support too much to move on?
Did they influence your thinking that I wasn't right?
That you had to reject me as I was to fight
To keep you beside me, and bringing you home?
Were you told to forget me and leave me alone?
Please tell me...help me understand
The sudden desire to not hold my hand.
To not recognize and respond to how much I care.
Suddenly so unaware of which way you want to go:
Lover, friend, or foe?
I am waiting to know.
I still love you so.
