Analysis of Modern Burden
Take up the White man's burden
A conflict he can't feign
The light skin modern doctor
Whose fathers stained with sin
Take up the White man's burden
An old seed watered, sown
Dark brothers work the fields
To germinate this throne
Take up the White man's burden
He lives this present shame
He hears this stinging phrase
'Cause father spoiled his name
Take up the White man's burden
He says he's not the same
Dark brothers are still angry---
And he deals with dad's mistake
