Clouds at Night

For so long I have admired nature
It’s formation of uncontrolled beauty
But today I sighted something major
And it was truly a beauty to see
Glances turned to stares when I looked up high
I stood and stared “never seen this before”
I watched, forgetting the cold made me cry
I continued walking, searching for more
They had mixed beautifully with the stars
Except at this time they seem more stable
I connected the stars and made a cross
Right then in my mind I had a fable
But this did not include “Tortoise and the Hare.”
But rather a sight I thought to be rare.
