Analysis of Midnight Dreams
Holly Szurczynski 1977
Midnight dreams, I rest tonight,
thoughts flow freely, of summer nights.
I close my eyes, I try to rest,
I feel weak, put my strength to the test.
Eyes close, energy runs through,
I feel so alive, I am so true.
Memories imprinted, which I hold,
there's a truth, which is now told.
Midnight dreams , I fall asleep,
dreams are now reality, I should not weep.
Off to sleep, in my la la land,
until I awake, in reality again.
