Analysis of Life Goes On

LIFE GOES ON

I have no reasons to sigh no decisions to rue
Life always goes on and in it our destines brew

The love that I once felt, has almost dwindled away
My life, once filled with color, has now all turned grey

I'm left with empty memories of hope and shattered dreams of despair
My mocking mind torments my heart; "I told you so, she did not care"

As I pick up the pieces, my heart still yearns for a chance
Love is so Blind to such follies and tries to get my mind in a trance

Now wiser and more cautious, I'm treading slowly and restrained
Time will wash away the doubts with which, my heart is stained.
