Analysis of Its time to say goodbye
In the lonely glow of moonlight
To me like in a dream you do appear.
I hear the solitary sound of the winds,
Enclosing me, besetting me,
Whispering secrets, crowding on my chest,
Preparing time to say goodbye!

There is something missing in the air...
Something calling, silently begging me here,
Slowly battling into my heart
Surrounding my lonely soul,
Into the night a tender power
Summoning me with a gentle but insistent hand.

Oh, lonesome love, forever dear
I reach out, but, either you are far or near
It is always just beyond my grasp.
In my despair I pray imploring you can hear my voice,
Yet, all my prayers break apart
Scattering through the empty darkness.

The way the moon shines down on me
And all the stars from blue immensity
Help me forget the sacred hour in which we met...
Love departs and Love returns
Placing flowers on my wounds
Because its time to say goodbye!
