Analysis of Higher Power
We beseech a Higher Power
when faced with horrid times.
We grovel, shrink and cower when faced with ghastly crimes.
We pursue a Supreme Being
when faced with no relief.
We supplicate while fleeing when faced with abject grief.
We entreat a Divine Presence
when faced with cruel routs.
We constrict, hold on and tense when faced with brutal bouts.
We look for a God Almighty
when faced with no recourse.
We finish up untidy when faced with sad remorse.
We implore a Holy Spirit
when faced with dismal turns.
We panic, dread and fear it when faced with health concerns.
