Analysis of For Andrea

I'm alone when my courage fades
Just in time through my dream parades
Push aside all the old emotions, you keep me sane inside

Hair of amber adds a touch of gray
Pretty smile keeps the years away
Old passions with older reasons, ever high you fly

Nature's cruellness it hurt you well
Caused the spirit in your heart to swell
Keeps rising as though in anger, to ever let you die

Shining light down from up above
Son he gave you to share my love
Orchid flower that slowly opens, as a rainy day goes by

Still you don't know
and pain stays near
and I'm somewhere over the hill
through resurrections
and silent nights
I love you and always will
