Borderline

I remember,when you were golden
Your blue eyes sparkled and shined
and you were mine
The gray horse of winter, he took you inside
He took your hand and crossed the borderline

You're back on the borderline, pushing away
You're using again and there's no one
To be a friend or save the day
holding up your bleeding heart
For the whole wide world to see
Did you come back to love or just to bleed on me

I'm not a preacher but I have seen some times
when lovers and friends slip over the borderline
Silver spoon piper, junkie nurse rhyme
Sings you to sleep with love that you can't find
