Analysis of Fleeting

Jumping
Rocks rough against
Bare feet
Leaping
From boulder to boulder
Making our way
Down the beach
Clouds above us
Glow orange
Like the embers
Of our fire
They form and vanish
Almost as quickly as
Thoughts
That pass me by
As the sun surrenders
To the stars
And the moon
Which lights our way
The crickets serenade us
And fireflies chase us
Trying to imitate
Shooting stars above

Hey, some of these aren't that great but what the heck. I just like writing how I feel in the moment so some of my poems might be confusing because I was confused in that moment. Maybe thats why I wanted to write a poem, to sort out my thoughts. Anyway, just read them and hopefully just one of them will bring you some kind of joy, or make you feel some kind of connection. Peace.>>>I also do star photography - probably why space works its way into a lot of my writing. http://mcb-photography.blogspot.com/ more…
