Analysis of Fleeting
Jumping
Rocks rough against
Bare feet
Leaping
From boulder to boulder
Making our way
Down the beach
Clouds above us
Glow orange
Like the embers
Of our fire
They form and vanish
Almost as quickly as
Thoughts
That pass me by
As the sun surrenders
To the stars
And the moon
Which lights our way
The crickets serenade us
And fireflies chase us
Trying to imitate
Shooting stars above
