Analysis of Father I Love You
Emotional simplicity dances
a smile as I watch you enter my life
after twenty long years of fragrant loss.
You were missed father, especially on days
where balloons popped coloured paper giggles,
but I forgive your absence for I know
it's been a long hard struggle on your road.
With a kiss and a hug dreamed for many
lonely nights I gather up your regret
and blow it across sad time's lost features.
And now, the present is spinning our souls
in the possible cool moments of all
the tomorrows they say will never come;
to grace our spirits with golden delight.
