Analysis of Evening Flight
Up and away like a bird at night,
Above the cloud what a wondrous sight,
A gentle lift floating in the wind,
Gone the city its lights have dimmed.
To the right are remnants of sun,
Orange against blue it's almost done,
In the distance a star or two,
Suddenly above the moon peeps through.
An upturned crescent bright as can be,
No greater contrast could you ever see?
There it is suspended in space,
A golden orb in its proper place.
Our silver plane heads south this date,
Lets heartily from food on plate,
Drink good coffee relax in style,
A trip completed a journey worthwhile.
