Analysis of Engrained
abandoned beads of stoneshed
irritate the flatbed trailhead,
torn from the elderly elements
and left texturally exhausted-
children of the time scavenge
stalled by the come what may
echo their windmade exodus
in the shade of their history-
from illuminated majesty to miniature nomads,
stuck unadorned in forgotten peripheries,
sifting through rotted wooden cracks,
embroidered in the decomposition of the last lost
