Analysis of Drowning

You were in my dream
In a place that I'd forgotten
It was only last night
And at first I didn't want it
Yesterday I hated you
But now I'm not as sure
A story that my mind gave me
Paints a new picture

We were inside
As the rain began to pour
There was so little time
Being on the second floor
Soon we'd all be history
As the land became the ocean
Couldn't ask for time to stop
Not even slow motion

I was so distraught
But then you took my hand
You looked me in the eyes
And you made your last demand
Take advantage of this moment
As our world begins to end
You and me together
Before I drown with you, my friend
