Fanatic in the Attic

The fanatic in the attic hears nothing but static
And since late last night has grown insomniac symptomatic
A brain now prosthetic, by dreams, mind erratic
So phlegmatically post traumatic it's axiomatic

Extraneously enigmatic, this condition's idiosyncratic
Though sporadic, his smiles appear semi-automatic
And his world's become so hypnagogically cinematic
With emotions now acting climatically dogmatic
That he simply can't react to the problematic

Just some puppeteer's marionette, melodramatic
He's gasping for air, trapped aquatic or asthmatic
Until his demons have run their thematic schematic
Leaving him one lone psychosomatic fanatic in the attic
