Analysis of Dog Days

In the dog days of Summer we long for something cool.
We dream of arctic regions and a swimming pool.

In the dog days of Summer we long for picnic zones.
We dream of watermelon and big frozen cones.

In the dog days of Summer we long for open air.
We dream of easy living and a rocking chair.

In the dog days of Summer we long for lighter dress.
We dream of fine vacations and a brief recess.

In the dog days of Summer we long for winter snow.
We dream of alpine skiing and an ice chateau.

In the dog days of Summer we long to estivate.
We dream of indolence and just vegetate.
