Analysis of Desire (Edited)

Just tell me it's over
And let me burn
Or call me when you're sober
So I could rest in return

You've been away
Makes me wonder
I spend the days
Trying your number

I know you're busy
Still I am confused
For he is fuzzy
Who keeps you amused

I remain the same
The one you loved
But you're in that frame
In the same alcove

You were in the waves
Thought you were strong
I dug my own grave
When I took so long

Now I walk in a lonely land
Praying for a chance
But you'll repudiate my hand
For my dull romance

Should I increase the night
And fake ignorance
Is it a careless flight
For a cognizance

I will wait for your call
And talk till it rains
Before he burns it all
And I'll writhe in pain

But now it's too late
As I have got your letter
You could never hate
But he makes you feel better

Trampled the bird
Who once flown so high
All set to burn
So the wings could revive

Phoenix is a bird who is revived once completely burned
