Analysis of Demons
The light shines through
My eyes are burning
I need the dark
To soothe my yearnings
The darkness hides what light cannot hold
The secrets of midnight
The meek meets the bold
Shrinking from sunlight
Into the shadows
The light continues to expose
It brings with it the clarity
Of all the things I wish not to see
Im pulled into reality
The light finds me
The feelings flood
The tears start flowing
At my heart's painful thuds
Darkness come, my dear old friend
Hold me in your loving arms
Grab my hand and cradle my head
Pillows dry the tears I've cried
Blankets keep away the fright
The dark descend
The burning ends
The yearnings, gone
Until the light shines back again.
