Analysis of Day To Day

Sunday when you go to church you often find a lofty perch.
Here you make a pious search, yet you are left in the lurch.

Monday when you go to school you often use a whiny pule.
Here you draw a master tool, yet you are left as the fool.

Tuesday when you go to work you often give a minor irk.
Here you gain an extra perk, yet you are left in the murk.

Wednesday when you go to play you often win a testy fray.
Here you hunt as bird of prey, yet you are left feet of clay.

Thursday when you go to bake you often eat a devil cake.
Here you take a coffee break, yet you are left in the wake.

Friday when you go to shop you often buy a bonus crop.
Here you add a bargain drop, yet you are left with no prop.

Saturday when you go to sleep you often fall into the deep.
Here you dream of stuff to keep, yet you are left a scrap heap.
