Analysis of Crashing and Burning -- Life Lessons Part 4
My meadow slowly turns brown,
And the wildfires begin,
Stripping the landscape of its beauty and peace.
The brook and pool are licked dry by flame.
I once again am alone.
The walls are charred, and
Growing thicker by the hour.
I see the darkness creep back in.
“No! No!” I cry,
Desperate to not return
To the pits of Hell on Earth
That I had endured.
I had been pulled from the Grave
Of my despair.
I refuse violently
To return to it.
It seems, however that I have
No choice in the matter
As dark clouds overwhelm me.
I reach towards those loving arms,
And they catch my hand.
They pull me up above
The mess of my life.
Although my meadow is destroyed,
I have a tiny hope to cling to.
These arms of love hold me close
And give me a reason to live.
