Analysis of Corpse Floating on a Raft
I lost my nerves
No feelings to disturb
the calm of this endless sea
The land has forsaken me
Crosses cut into my wrists
and bloodstains on my teeth
The sun is not so cruel this day
death has come to rescue me
Waves splash up against the sides
Much like my life force in gushing tides
The afterlife is not so different
from the one before
Still I just can't seem to move
these heavy wooden oars
Drifting on my pleasure cruise,
doesn't matter if I find the shore
